If you’re looking to fill your glass with opportunity, come join our FAMILY.**Overview**The Web Content Specialist is a member of the Corporate Communications Team at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, the world’s preeminent wine and spirits distributor and _Forbes_ 10th largest private company in the U.S. The role is responsible for publishing and optimizing digital content on Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits corporate website using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Management System. In addition to the technical skills required to author within a CMS, the Web Content Specialist must also have a firm understanding of the overall digital landscape, experience in implementing best practices for web content and Search Engine Optimization, and outstanding writing skills for digital channels.**Primary Responsibilities**+ Support the department’s lead content author and product manager for content governance, intake and publishing on the corporate website to ensure content is up to date, relevant and of value to target audiences.+ Responsible for authoring content via the Adobe CMS by selecting templates, components and modules, and adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web content based on digital brand guidelines and stakeholder input.+ Manage any ongoing website enhancements working with business owners and supporting technology partners.+ Maintain ADA compliance for web content.+ Support with functional testing and accuracy of content updates completed.+ Assist with investigation and resolution of technical bugs.+ Assist with updating content assets withing Adobe Digital Asset Manager tool.+ Collaborate with the team’s analytics specialist to identify important insights and support ongoing reporting to Southern Glazer’s leaders.+ Work collaboratively with owners of other channels within Southern Glazer’s digital ecosystem (i.e. intranet, ecommerce) to share and optimize content.**Minimum Qualifications**+ 2-3 years of web content management experience+ 1-3 years of experience working with an enterprise Content Management Systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editorial writing experience for digital mediums+ General knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools, preferably Adobe Analytics+ Attention to detail, accuracy and quality+ Strong project management and interpersonal skills+ Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines.+ Self-motivated, responsive and dedicated to driving success.+ Bachelor's Degree in digital marketing, communications, computer science or related field**Physical Demands**+ Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine+ Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping+ May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs**EEO Statement**Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
