The team develops and implements Sports Marketing strategies, obtains endorsements and licensing agreements, and provides meaningful services & experiences to the best athletes on the planet.Who we are looking forWe’re looking for a Director of NA Fitness who will bring passion and experience to lead the NA Fitness team, including the overall Trainer partnerships strategy and service model. They will understand how to best connect our diverse roster of Trainers into Nike’s Brand, Business and Purpose functions to drive value for both the Trainer and Nike. They will be able to successfully navigate the Nike matrix with strong cross-functional relationships and innovative thinking. The candidate should be a motivated and experienced team leader who is thoughtful, proactive, and collaborative.What you will work onIf this is you, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:+ Deliver an overall strategic Trainer vision for North America with an emphasis on building a diverse and dynamic portfolio to connect with Nike’s NYC & LA fitness consumers+ Manage the strategic plan and resourcing needs for NA Fitness.+ Leverage knowledge of Sports Marketing functional tools and expertise to create a competitive offering and service model for Trainers.+ Create efficiencies with Brand & Athlete Experience SM teammates to elevate the Trainer experience and support City Reps.+ Lead Geo-wide Trainer moments, such as the NA Trainer Exchange.+ Facilitate contract management for Trainers, in partnership with Legal.+ Provide visibility and access to the Trainer roster for key cross-functional teammates, while maintaining the integrity Sports Marketing relationships.+ Elevate the insights and feedback from the City Reps and Trainers to ensure Nike is keeping its finger on the pulse of fitness in our key cities.+ Develop programs to demonstrate the scale and authenticity of our Trainer roster, such as product feedback and content needs.Who you will work withYou will be reporting to the Sr. Director of NA Women’s Sports Marketing, while managing the LA and NYC Fitness Reps and the NA Fitness Specialist. You will work closely with Brand and Sports Marketing leadership to ensure that strategy and resources serve the brand and business. While your main focus is North America, you will also partner with City and Global teammates.What you bring+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Sport/Fitness or combination of relevant education, experience and training.+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in a related field+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of partners across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races+ Experience managing a team of high-performers through fast-paced change and ambiguity.+ Experience influencing leadership, teams and functional counterparts to get results in a balanced way.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills including: meeting facilitation and presentation+ Expertise and/or passion for Fitness and Wellness.+ Ability to travel (up to) 20%NIKE, Inc. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
