Director of Sales & Marketing - Embassy Suites Cincinnati-Blue Ash The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue, building customer relationships, and leading and managing the sales team. This individual will report directly to the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives. • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to maximize revenue. Team Leadership and Development • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support. • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure team members meet or exceed targets. Client Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners. • Conduct regular client visits and participate in networking events to promote the hotel portfolio. Sales Performance and Reporting • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the Regional Director of Sales. • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support of sales initiatives. • Participate in the development of promotional materials and campaigns. Market Analysis and Research • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities • Proficiency in hotel management operations competencies • Basic Computer Skills (Determined by an Assessment) • Hotel Management Experience • Sales Experience • US Work Authorization
