Summary

Aspen One’s Social Media Managers help to oversee our brands’ first and most frequent point of contact with the world. This role will be responsible for managing Aspen One's hospitality brands—namely Limelight, with potential support for The Little Nell. This role will expertly crafting messages about our hotels' core offerings, brand values and differentiators across multiple channels and mediums (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube). This role will be responsible for executing social media, engagement, and influencer strategies, from brainstorms to postmortems, in alignment with overarching brand, marketing and digital strategies and goals.

This role will be based in-person in our Aspen, CO or Denver, CO offices.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,425 - $85,053. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential job functions

Define purpose, audience and goals for existing and new social channels to develop end-to-end social media content strategy and calendars

Daily management of various aspects of The Little Nell and Limelight social media accounts including timely posting, moderating, engaging and providing customer service when necessary

Work closely with content and creative teams to align on overarching content strategy, marketing goals, and brand voice messaging

Track and analyze the performance of social initiatives using key metrics, providing insights to optimize future social strategies and tactics

Content capture (photos and video) for social media, create graphics and templates, curate existing photo and video content as needed

Help manage and grow a network of content creators and influencers across channels; brief them on projects; support in identifying the right partners and opportunities for the brand

Support influencer marketing strategies and grow a network of partners and content creators across channels

Lead live social coverage of events throughout the year, including some weekends and evenings

Collaborate with internal departments across brands to represent their needs and initiatives, including revenue centers, PR team, sustainability team, etc.

Collaborate with media agencies and digital marketing team as needed on paid social media strategy, tactics, implementation and optimization

Build strong relationships with local internal and external photographers and videographers to collaborate on and collect timely content

Build meaningful connections with our target audiences to increase social engagement, following, and brand affinity

Continually stay ahead of the curve on best practices, platform updates and changes, algorithms, comp sets, and what’s trending, timely, and on-brand within individual channels and the industry as a whole

Maintain and grow relationships with partners across all channels

Qualifications:Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social media, communications or related field

Five years of experience in the field of marketing and social media required, with expert knowledge across key social channels and platforms

Proven experience growing social media for a well-known brand with an active social media presence

Hospitality experience strongly preferred

Proven experience supporting influencer programming for a well-known brand with an active social media presence

Demonstrated track record utilizing multiple social platforms to build awareness, engage new and existing customers and increase sales

Strong copywriting and impeccable proofreading skills, with the ability to transform long-form web and newsletter copy into engaging, punchy social captions and stories

Project management experience: Ability to coordinate projects, communicate changes and progress, and stick to deadlines and budgets

High-level written and verbal communication skills for relationship-building and problem-solving

Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with great time management skills and the ability to multitask and reprioritize quickly and often

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva

Knowledge of photography and video production, from shoot to post-production and delivery

Experience working in social media management platforms such as Dash Hudson

Experience with Facebook Ads Manager and/or Facebook Business Manager

Supervision given and received

Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Received: Works under general supervision of the Senior Manager, Social Media & Influencer Marketing. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.

Work Environment and physical demands

Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements

No adverse or hazardous conditions

Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
