KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical design/Patternmaking

Develop production ready patterns with drills and notches.

Understanding of grading and alteration as applies to patterns.

Provide sustaining technical design/pattern making support to US-based garment manufacturing.

Design responsibility for customer option/garment customization requests.

Create pattern models to meet garment specifications for existing product lines.

Techpack creation and modifications.

Work with manufacturing to establish and document best practices.

Make appropriate recommendations in collaboration with peer teams on matters pertaining to specifications, patterns, construction methods, and techniques to improve the overall quality of the garment.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field

3+ years of experience as a Fashion Designer

Strong creativity and artistic skills

Proficiency in design software and tools

Knowledge of fashion trends and industry standards

Experience in luxury fashion or high-end brands

Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and unique designs

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Passion for fashion and staying up to date with industry trends
