Southwest is seeking an individual to work alongside and under the supervision of the Vice President of Institutional Advancement to serve as the Director of Marketing. This position serves the College by using a broad marketing and communications mix to shape opinion, make contacts, open channels of communication and facilitate understanding of the College, in order to ensure an aggressive share of the market. The position brings additional value by directing the development of the College brand through its support of the institution’s goals and objectives through a variety of media channels and communication strategies. Working closely with the College’s administrative team and other internal stakeholders, the Director of Marketing will ensure the direction of Southwest’s communication efforts is in line with the College’s mission, vision, values, and goals.Special AssignmentsMay be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.KSA's/Required Qualifications

Exceptional people skillsExceptional writing and verbal skillsProven ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in a number of relevant software programs (such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Affinity, Salesforce CRM )Experienced in the development of advertising campaignsMarketing & research experienceProven ability to initiate and sustain media relationshipsUnderstanding and proficiency in developing news media content, photography, videography, and other creative media.Solid experience with traditional and digital marketing campaigns.Experience in a related fieldComprehensive communications experienceAdditional Considerations
