Hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Title: Architectural Design Coordinator 2

The Architectural Design Coordinator 2 at Arvest manages the coordination of varying degrees of renovation and construction projects from conception to completion. They work under minimal direction from the Architectural Design Manager and partner with Property Managers, Bank associates, Vendors, and other Architectural Management Office (AMO) associates to lead the schematic design process on assigned projects, managing it throughout the completion of construction. This includes selecting color schemes, window treatments, hardware and lighting fixtures, carpet/tile, artwork, paint, millwork, and furniture to meet the standards of the bank. They submit Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and/or Revit drawings for approvals of design placements in accordance with inspection regulations and all applicable building codes. Additionally, they play an integral role in developing and maintaining Bank design standards and communicating them out to the AMO team and banks.

What You'll Do at Arvest:

(Other duties may be assigned.)• Manage project coordination for assigned renovation and construction projects; tasks include but are not limited to creating and maintaining schedules, coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal teams, attending site visits, preparing field reports, reviewing proposals, supplemental instructions and submittals as requested or required.• Lead the schematic design packages and interior design packets on assigned construction projects and present them to project stakeholders for approval.• Provide budget information for interior furnishings and materials.• Provide design and branding recommendations and layouts for non-construction projects and acquisitions.• Under the minimal direction of the Architectural Design manager, develop and maintain prototype management projects, Arvest graphic standards, master specifications and guideline manual updates and revisions.• Document and measure assigned Arvest properties, prepare accurate Revit models based on documentation for office use and upload to CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Maintenance) software.• At the conclusion of a construction project or as required, prepare and upload updated electronic plans to CAFM software and prepare updated evacuation plans to distribute to the bank.• Complete site visits on assigned projects after completion to evaluate design and execution and identify issues to be corrected in the prototype design standards.• Utilize CAFM software for space planning or other tasks as needed.• Create and maintain Revit templates and tools for AMO use.• Review proposals and process purchase orders for owner purchased Items and invoices for assigned interior design projects after initial approval by the Property Manager.• Review alternate standard packages on specific interior design projects and work with the Property Manager up to the point of purchase order.• Review and maintain blanket orders for owner furnished items based on yearly projections and work directly with outside vendors on product reviews, inventory, and pricing reviews.• Review assigned architectural construction documents and provide feedback to the Projects & Construction Coordinator and Consultant as required to ensure compliance with standards.• Maintain working relationships with vendors throughout assigned projects, which may include millwork, lighting, fixtures, furniture, etc.• Partner with the Architectural Design Manager to review new and existing vendors, ensuring cost effective products and services.• Review and approve assigned furniture design layouts and proposals and generate purchase orders on approved furniture products under group buying agreement. Coordinate and schedule installation and delivery with vendors and property managers.• Coordinate with the People Team and furniture vendor to review and provide workplace accommodation solutions for associates based on medical needs or restrictions.• Ensure AMO compliance with applicable building codes, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).• Attend onsite meetings as a part of planning or development and as required during construction.• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

Toolbox for Success:• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ) certification.• 7 years of experience in commercial interior design, construction project coordination, facility coordination and/or relevant experience• 10 years of experience without NCIDQ certification.• AutoCAD and/or Revit experience.• Working knowledge of building and ADA codes• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Preferred:• Previous experience in a banking environment• Graphic design skills and/or skills in Adobe products• 3D Rendering skills• Experience with CAFM software• Working knowledge of commercial systems furniture

Physical Demands:

The associate must be able to travel frequently by themselves within the US, including overnight. Associates must be able to navigate a construction site and access all areas of a facility. This includes but is not limited to the ability to work in and around all facilities spaces; below grade, rooftop, penthouse, unfinished spaces, crawl spaces and which access to may require climbing a ladder or using a lift.
