Job Duties and Responsibilities

Boost Mobile is hiring a dynamic Event and Media Marketing Specialist for Local Marketing to enhance our brand and drive retail traffic. The ideal candidate will excel in brand management, digital marketing, planning, budgeting, and strategic thinking. This role is crucial for our growth, focusing on innovative strategies to boost Boost's market engagement and retail presence, ultimately increasing market share.

This position would cover our Great Lakes area - MI, OH, KY, and IN. The ideal candidate would be located in Michigan or Indiana.

Key Responsibilities:

Report to Sr. Manager of Local Marketing and coordinate with various teams to achieve OKRs & KPIs

Ideate, plan, promote, and execute quarterly marketing campaigns and local events

Demonstrate product knowledge to consumers and grow market share in your territory

Coordinate with the Regional Director of Sales to identify market opportunities and build an event calendar

Develop relationships with local organizations and businesses for event partnerships

Provide post-event evaluations, communicate updates to leadership, and ensure event accuracy and compliance

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

5+ years of experience in project management, hyperlocal marketing, or a related role

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suites

Strong budget management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed for projects

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the telecommunications industry

Familiarity with experiential vehicle programs and national partnerships

Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
