Apply NowProfile Summary:As the Vice President of Workplace B2B Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing strategies that are aligned with Workplace goals and objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a critical role in driving Voya’s land, expand, and deepen strategy and enhancing brand awareness through B2B channels. Leading a team of marketers, you will spearhead the transformation of our B2B marketing organization across the Workplace Solutions lines of business to drive measurable ROI, successful go-to-market planning and execution, and foster innovation in team building, processes, and leveraging marketing technology. Additionally, you will deliver top-line revenue growth and long-term results by translating business goals into prioritized marketing strategies and objectives, establishing meaningful metrics and KPIs, and driving detailed impact analyses with continuous improvement. You will also support Voya’s unique culture by attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive customer-centric workforce.Profile Description:Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute comprehensive B2B integrated and omni-channel marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer insights to drive growth and achieve revenue targets. Prioritize action steps and manage portfolio to achieve business goals. Communicate plans to key stakeholders and manage B2B marketing budget, capacity planning, and marketing resource allocation to deliver against revenue and earnings targets.

Market Positioning:

Define and refine positioning and messaging with key audiences, highlighting value propositions, competitive advantages, and differentiation. Inspire compelling B2B marketing content to effectively communicate the value proposition of our workplace solutions.

Acquisition Marketing /Lead Generation:

Drive demand generation efforts through targeted omni-channel engagement with marketing campaigns, events, partnerships, and lead nurturing programs to generate qualified leads and opportunities within the B2B segment.

Sales Enablement:

Partner with distribution teams to develop effective sales finals, strategic partnership marketing, firm engagement, Producer events, Stewardships, advisory boards, Industry conferences, and market presence with sales enablement tools, resources, and training programs to support B2B sales efforts and maximize conversion rates.

Channel, Product and Solutions Marketing:

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and programs for Workplace segments, including positioning, messaging, and packaging, promotional activities. Work closely with Distribution teams to provide Employer and Intermediary strategic marketing including strategies and programs to drive retention, expansion, and deepen goals.

Customer Centricity:

Leverage data analytics, market research, primary research, voice of the customer, and customer feedback to gain customer insights into needs, preferences, and behaviors, informing marketing strategies and initiatives to meet customer needs and win against competition.

Leadership Requirements:Team Leadership:

Build and mentor a high-performing B2B marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive results and achieve departmental goals. Advise, consult, and serve as a member of the marketing senior leadership team in the development and execution of short-term and long-range plans that leverage the use of an expanded set of marketing capabilities and tactics to drive growth.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, relationship management, intermediary/consultant relations, product, operations, digital, technology, analytics, and finance to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and priorities.

Transformation:

You will lead the transformation of our marketing organization into a dynamic, results-driven powerhouse that consistently delivers value, drives innovation, and achieves measurable ROI in our B2B marketing efforts by harnessing the power of marketing technology and establishing a culture of measurement and accountability, while encouraging experimentation and celebrating innovation.

Knowledge & Experience:15+ years of progressive experience in B2B or B2B2C marketing roles within the financial services, insurance, or related industries. Experience in Retirement, Health/Group Benefits, and Retail Wealth Management is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. MBA preferred. Proven experience in a similar senior marketing role, preferably in the workplace solutions industry. Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle for the retirement, group benefits, benefit administration, and retail businesses and experience collaborating with distribution to drive lead generation, conversion, retention, and deeper share of wallet.

Knowledge of CX methodologies and frameworks that help put the customer first – e.g., customer journey mapping, persona development, primary customer research, CX metrics.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand awareness.

In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, market research, and data analysis.

Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM (Search Engine Marketing), ABM (Account Based Marketing), social media marketing, and content marketing, and in developing and deploying digital offerings and engagements.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives.

Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies and initiatives.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and deliver impactful presentations.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
