The Marketing Associate would assist the Executive Vice President of Business Development with Wabash General Hospital’s employees and Auxiliary. The responsibilities would include assisting in recruiting and training volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skill sets, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, managing schedules for all volunteer areas, tracking volunteer’s work hours, assist with communicating to employees, volunteers, and helping coordinate recognition to employees, and volunteers. Plans, implements, and promotes corporate events for staff, which includes, but is not limited to events for Hospital Week and Christmas month, Retirement Parties, Company Picnic, and all other employee events. Plans recognitions related to healthcare observances. Responsible for recognizing all Board of Directors, Medical Staff, volunteers, and staffs’ birthdays and work anniversaries. Assists in keeping the first impression of the facility decorated for each season. Responsible for distributing Company Store orders. Responsible for creating employee newsletter. Assist with Angel Tree. Works with the Marketing Department as a whole to supports Wabash General Hospital with their marketing needs. Assists the departmental team in community events as necessary, which may require attendance outside of normal business hours. Supports and promotes the hospital’s mission, vision, values, and goals. Follows all policies and procedures as established by WGH. Follows safe practices for handling toxic substances, infection control, and all fire and safety procedures.
