Junior Graphic Designer

Luxury invitation design company is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to assist the Art Director in innovative yet timeless invitation suites, save the dates, day-of stationery, and websites for weddings and Galas. Katie and her team are incredibly talented-they create invitations for celebrities, professional athletes, Fortune 500 companies, etc. It's very much a family vibe at Katie Fischer Design. Candidate would start on a three month trial-basis before becoming a full-time employee (with healthcare, paid vacation, and 401k benefits) at our East Rutherford, NJ production studio.Responsibilities-- Design and layout custom designs for clients.-- Assist the Art Director with projects.-- Assign artwork to in-house artists.-- Work directly with clients. Receive feedback and revise designs.-- Order materials for projects, create printer-ready files, and submit jobs for production.-- Keep client timelines up to date using our project management software.-- Process orders in the studio: quality checking, ribbon tying, etc.Qualifications-- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and have a graphic design degree.-- Tasteful yet artful and modern aesthetic is a plus, but we can train.-- In-person at our East Rutherford, NJ studio.-- Must be professional with a can-do attitude, a clear communicator, trust-worthy, and detail-oriented.To apply for the job, please email your coverletter and resume to info@.
