The Marketing Director is accountable for achieving the sales and profitability goals through executing effective Marketing Brand Strategies. This role provides direction and leadership support for the Marketing Strategy programs and Product Planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Vice President of Marketing in overseeing all functions with Marketing CommunicationAssist in set up of Brand Marketing strategyCreate and communicate a calendar of marketing events to the sales teamMedia select, buying with agenciesCreate sports marketing with agencySponsorship, Event Marketing with agencyResponsible for creating sports marketing with agencyResponsible for Sponsorship, Event Marketing with AgencyPrepare the Marketing Bi-annual President/Vice Chairman ReportAd hoc marketing reports for the CEO North America, President at HQDealer communication material building & planningManage ACE (Online Educational Training Portal)Manage WebsiteManage Social Media AgencyManage online persona by monitoring search, forums, and review website.Manage the App on the iOS Store and Google Play StoreOperate Retail Rebranding Initiative with Outdoor Sign AgencyConsumer Promotion DesignChannel co/Promotion DesignMonthly activity report to the CEOResponsibility and Decision-Making Authority:

Empowered to make decisions within the Region with approval of Executive Vice President of Marketing.Authority to make cross functional decisions with the approval of Executive Vice President of Marketing in partnership with peers of other functions.Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven leadership skills.Supervisory or management experience, preferably of a sales staff.Working knowledge of Tire Industry sales market segments.Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior Marketing position.Prior attendance at formal Marketing training courses a plus.Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and

benefits to the support team.Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel and Power

Point, etc.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business Management or related field (preferred)Five plus years Tire Industry Marketing experience

Working Hours:

Hours may vary and will require evening and weekend work depending on business needs and will require working overtime

Working Environment: Office Environment

Personal computer, e-mail, copier, fax, phone, and other standard office equipment

Travel:

Ability to travel as required
