Position: Client Service Associate - Marketing OperationsFounded in 1954, First Pacific Advisors, LP (“FPA”) is a Los Angeles-based institutional money management firm with a value investment discipline. FPA manages approximately $26 billion across several strategies, including equity and fixed income. Clients include proprietary and sub-advised mutual funds, an ETF, open and closed-ended private funds, and separately managed accounts. Independently owned, FPA has 75 employees, including 19 investment professionals.Department Overview:The Client Service department provides support to prospects and clients, portfolio managers, business development, and relationship managers by performing operational and administrative functions for our strategies, funds, and/or managed accounts. The type of support generally includes sourcing, creating, and delivering data and marketing materials, supporting the launch of new product collateral, managing the operational diligence process for prospects and clients, supporting the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, public website, and other marketing and client-related software, and supporting the internal coordination and completion of ad hoc/day-to-day projects and requests.Responsibilities of This Role:Assist with managing the workflow process to track and report the delivery of marketing materials and client communication efforts firm-wide.Support the production of marketing materials, specifically:

Regularly produce marketing collateral, presentations, and communications across products including Public Funds (Mutual Funds, ETF’s, Closed End List Funds, CIT’s), Separately Managed Accounts (SMA’s) and Private Funds.Design/create templates to improve branding/messaging of marketing materials

May include e-blasts, LinkedIn posts, website images/banners.

Establish/support effective quality control processes for data and materials production.

Website management

Support updates to the public website with firm/team-specific information, data, and ad hoc requests.Coordinate updates of the Content Management System, Sitefinity.

Support the management of internal Client Service databases, applications and/or DDQ initiatives. This may include maintenance of the email marketing database, marketing materials tracker, and/or CRM system.Cross-functionally collaborate (internally and externally) to effectively complete operational duties.Assist with event coordination

Collaborate with the lead event planner, FPA compliance, and third-party providers to establish an event timeline.Proactively assist with event materials such as emails, posters, presentations, nametags, and RSVP forms.

Assist with the implementation of ad hoc projects, such as a slide management tool.Qualifications:Acute attention to accuracy and detail.Driven and a self-starter, with an ability to deliver results in a demanding and dynamic environment.Effective organizational and planning skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.Experience/desire to work in a fast-paced industry and effectively collaborate with all levels of personnel both internally and externally.Excellent oral communication and proactive follow-up skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities – exhibiting problem-solving skills.Focused on continuous improvement and operational discipline.An understanding and affinity for branding and identity - high drive to elevate the brand and improve/innovate ways to present the firm and strategies.A strong understanding, passion, and pursuit of technical trends.Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability.Willingness to speak up and share and receive constructive input and opinions.Requirements:1-3 plus years of relevant work experience preferred, financial services experience a plus.Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of Hubspot a plus.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic software a plus.Experience with marketing and CRM software a plus.Experience with website maintenance and design a plus.Experience with project management and/or process redesign a plus.This position will work on a 3-day in office hybrid model based in El Segundo, California.Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 base salary + bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
