Established in 2013, NAADAM prioritizes sustainability and quality craftsmanship, offering timeless knits crafted to last.DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Associate Technical Designer to assist the Technical Design Manager with all technical aspects of product development, from initial concept to final production samples. This includes Naadam's ecommerce, wholesale and private-label product lines. If you have a passion for knitwear and wovens, and are looking to quickly grow and nurture your technical design skills, we'd love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesCreate Initial Tech PacksCreate digital 3D renders using Clo 3D softwareWork closely with the design team to develop styles according to Naadam standardsEnter initial specs for new development stylesOrganize and prepare samples for fittingsTake accurate notes during fittings and apply fit comments to Tech Packs, post fitting and pass all Tech Packs to the factoriesConducting a certain percentage of fittings in collaboration with the Technical Design ManagerSpec any samples that arrive un-specced from the factorySupport the Technical Design Manager in clearly communicating answers to factory questions throughout the development processManage sample organization for current development samples and Naadam's archive samplesWork cross functionally with the Design, Merchandising, Product Development, and Production departments to ensure proper style developmentSkillsProficient in Clo 3D SoftwareProficient in Adobe Illustrator, and PhotoshopPLM ExperienceUnderstanding of technical design principles/practices, garment construction, fit, and sizingAbility to analyze fit and quality to make data-driven decisions that improve product quality and fit.Experience working in both knitwear and wovensAbility to proactively trouble shoot and problem solveAbility to think creatively and strategically to improve product quality and fit.Strong organizational SkillsAble to work across multiple seasons simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesQualificationsBachelor's in fashion design or a related field.3+ years of experienceBenefitsPaid VacationHealth Insurance401k PlanHybrid Work - Employees are required to be in office at least 2 days a weekSalary Range:
