We are currently seeking a proficient Data Analyst with a deep understanding of the fashion and apparel industry and data science methodologies. This role will be critical in using data to generate actionable insights that support key strategic decisions. This individual will particularly focus on areas such as marketing performance, customer retention, and generating data-driven guidance for our ecommerce business.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Design Assistant to join our growing creative team. In this role, you will work directly with the Design Director and Merchandising and Design team across various tasks. This position will assist the design team at key points across the development season. This position will also maintain and manage the fabric library/boards, color cards, style descriptions, inspiration and proto samples. They will also assist with updating google seasonal design docs, product descriptions, MSRP, etc. In addition to these key tasks the position will also assist with various duties listed below.

POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with sketch updates including color and/or print updates as well as detail and trim updatesAssist Design Director/M&D Team with seasonal documentsCreate, update and maintain seasonal R&D documentsCreate, update and maintain all design documents - category pages, all in one and merch masters, for each division including style info, fabric detail and retail pricesCreate, update and maintain production handover documents for each divisionCreate, update and maintain product description documents for each division and work with Ecom and Sales team to see the document through processUpdating SKU count before major milestones and meetingsCreate, update and maintain seasonal color palettes - both digital and physicalCompiling KEY color, trend directions utilizing multiple forecasting platforms and runwayKeeping color samples updated, organized and in delivery orderPulling Pantone options to color match to bought samples, mood boards, etc.Calibrating color palette to match Pantones and or samplesCreating all files for seasonal color palette and adding pantone informationResearching color name ideas and assessing if names are available on Full CircleFabric Sourcing:Prepare New fabric development swatches for PDBuild and keep up seasonal fabric books with vendor details for dept referencing fabric.Styles Names, numbers and Descriptions:Cross checking new names on our website, B2Z, and style number doc and keep style name list up to dateCollaborating with design and PD to approve proposed style names for each seasonCreate style and number description Docs for all DivisionsMood Boards and Tears:Pulling inspiration from wgsn, Pinterest, other brands, social media, etc.Helping to create digital or physical mood boards when neededPrint Ideas:

Researching trends and pulling prints from print housesPulling print trend tears

Assist Design Director and PD team to prep work for key meetingAssist PD team with gathering and organizing proto samples, lab dips and strike offsOrganize and maintain Inspiration samplesPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.Other various duties for Design Director and Department as neededSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Assistant -

Salary Range

$24.00 - $30.00 Per Hour

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Z SUPPLY provides a range of compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, internal parity and other relevant factors. Flexibility outside of the salary range listed may be considered based on additional skills or qualifications a candidate may possess that may justify additional compensation. Company paid health benefits, PTO, bonus and other various company perks are not included in the salary range listed above and are considered additional compensation.
