Job Summary of the Interior Designer positionIntegr8staff seeks an experienced Interior Designer with furniture fixtures and equipment experience for a global interior design firm.
Responsibilities of the Interior Designer positionCollaborate seamlessly with designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projectsSupporting the senior interior designer in material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelinesOwnership and management of small-scale projects and/or full project sections on large scale projectsManagement and development of junior interior designers as neededCreating project documentation including specification writing, schedules, and construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination)
Requirements of the Interior Designer position4-8 years of experience in interiors or architectureA degree from an accredited schoolExcellent hand sketching and rendering abilityKnowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and InstallationExpertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office SuitePassion for design and an eye for detailRevit, Rhino and Enscape proficiency a plusLEED accreditation a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team
