CEOFull-timeExemptEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

The VP of Sales is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives. Develop and grow key relationships with customers and prospective customers, to drive market share, volume targets and profitable revenue growth in keeping with Company objectives. The VP of Sales also works closely with the parent company’s sales business unit in Germany to ensure parity in global accounts and marketing strategies.

Continuous development of new business in the U.S. and North American MarketsDevelops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectivesEnsure profitable selling in the U.S. and North American Markets of the JRS Pharma PortfolioMaintain and strengthen customer and distributor relationships by personal and active participation in

important customer and distributor interactionsProfessional direct leadership of the marketing and sales organization including setting of ambitious objectives, monitoring of activities and continuous performance reviewProvides monthly reporting of sales activity to CEO and JRS Global VP Life ScienceEnsures open communication and collaboration with sales unit in GermanyCoordinates and leads quarterly sales/business planning meetingDirects implementation and execution of sales policies and practiceEnsures communications are coordinated, supports sales plans objectives, and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with finance and marketing departmentsRecommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysisMaintain awareness of both external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standardsForecast market trends with market research and trend monitoringImplements approved distribution strategiesManages multiple channel selling strategies, including international/global account strategiesBuilds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.Leads interdisciplinary pricing team with representation from customer service, finance and global account managerProfessional representation of Company during all business and social activitiesMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresPerform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Ability to develop professional relationships with Distributors, Customers, Internal stakeholders, internal business partners, and communities to facilitate the introduction of our products.A broad set of leadership competencies that include strong communication and change management skills, the ability to drive business insights, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and effective planning and execution skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects, requirements, and competing demands in a deadline-driven environmentMinimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in B2B sales, marketing, and business development in the pharmaceutical or nutrition supplier industry.Bachelor s degree required; Masters/MBA degree preferred5+ years leading and managing others.Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and excipient industries.Critical attention to detail and solid technical understandingAbility to link technical and commercial aspectsProven long-term result driver and balanced record of short-term wins with long-term goalsOpen-minded and innovative personality with strong leadership skillsMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.Ability to work independently and to complete assignments within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time.
