Truly, the possibilities are beautiful.THE IMPACT YOU CAN MAKE:As Senior Manager of Media Strategy for UB Media, Ulta Beauty’s Retail Media Network, you will serve as a critical senior leader on a growing internal media team focused on building our UB Media business. This is a new role for the organization and is equal parts advisor and doer. You will operate at the center of several strategy and execution-oriented marketing and media teams.This role is responsible for leading and developing the strategy, execution and measurement of media campaigns, including RFP response, custom proposals, etc. with the main objective to uncover and maximize UB Media opportunities aligned to client goals. You will collaborate closely with the UB Media account management and sales team, brand partners and agency partners to advance the business as a trusted resource.You are results-driven, resilient, and have a creative and agile mindset. You can identify gaps within media strategies and plans, and develop creative solutions grounded in data and insights. You can motivate others to work towards a common vision and purpose. You are passionate about leading and developing a media team.This is a unique opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment with the resources, organizational support, and existing vendor relationships of an industry leader.CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Understand the Retail Media landscape, the changing needs of the CPG community and shifting consumer sentiment and behaviors.Lead media strategy, execution, and measurement to deliver a holistic media perspective to brand partners.Work closely with agency partner to build comprehensive plans and provide best in class digital media solutions for our seasonal campaigns and large clients.Collaborate with internal and agency teams on innovation, including driving new ad solutions from feedback in the market and determining how to best position these solutions.Partner with core media team to identify opportunities across Ulta Beauty marketing and UB Media.Inspire, mentor and grow a team of individual contributors, model a growth mindset, and contribute as a senior leader within the company.Be a catalyst for change, setting a clear and comprehensive strategy and held accountable for high caliber strategic output, thought leadership and operational excellence.Educate team and key stakeholders in media and marketing best practices.YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THIS BY:7+ years of experience developing integrated media strategies with an emphasis on social and digital channels.5+ years of experience working with or at Retail Media Networks and 3+ years of management experience.Deep understanding of the media landscape, media consumption, and how to connect strategic thought leadership with digital and social activation channels.Naturally curious and a student of culture – you like to understand and study consumer behavior to better understand how to craft media strategies.Able to manage multiple priorities from different parts of the business and influence resource allocation based on business impact.Experience motivating and inspiring partner teams towards shared goals, translating channel needs and results for the context in which they are delivered.Strong critical thinking and communication skills – comfortable leading, presenting and contributing at all levels.A dual-brained thinker – strong analytics approach to data and measurement, and ability to extract relevant and actionable insights that drive business results.Strong analytical approach to media measurement across total investments.Must have experience working in matrixed organization settings, collaborating with cross-functional teams and business units, and managing/influencing various external agency partners.ABOUTAt
