Sales Director, Performance Advertising

SundaySky’s Performance Advertising business unit is seeking a solutions-oriented, talented, and motivated Sales Director to join our sales team. The primary responsibility will be to drive revenue with new accounts and sell the value of our dynamic video solutions across programmatic desktop, mobile, CTV, YouTube & Social that enable brands to achieve their business goals & program KPI’s.

The ideal candidate has programmatic, display, video and/or CTV advertising experience. Strong executive brand direct and agency contacts are also required.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility to develop and implement a comprehensive sales and business growth strategy that maximizes SundaySky’s opportunities to drive new revenueCultivate and develop effective business relationships with senior influencers and key decision makers across brand and agency teamsCreate and execute strategic account plans and forecasting that accurately predicts booking and revenue on a frequent basisApply consultative selling methodology on a consistent basis, in order to create value propositions for strategic opportunities to attract and grow revenueDevelop and present sales presentations that articulate how SundaySky can fulfill client needs and challengesParticipate and contribute to responses that are requested by customers and potential customers for all sales related documentation (Proposals, RFP responses, etc.)Collaborate with teams internally in order to monitor key information and data relating to customers, sales prospects and marketplace interactions

Requirements:

Min. 3-5 years of sales experience in the online digital space with strong brand advertising and media agency relationshipsExperience and deep understanding of the digital advertising marketplace with a focus on programmatic, CTV, digital platforms, data, and/or creative technologiesHistory of presenting to and negotiating with Executive-level decision-makers: Directors, VP’s, SVP’s and aboveSignificant experience navigating long sales cycles in a matrix environment to the large enterprise segmentExtremely self-motivated, attention to detail, and desire to deliver resultsOutgoing and energetic personality that can adapt to dynamic environmentsExcellent written and oral communication, including strong presentation skills and a confident ability to pitch at C-LevelProven track record of success meeting and exceeding quotas primarily with new business salesExcellent problem-solving and negotiation skills at both the strategic and operational levelBachelor’s degree and/or an MBA or advanced degree in business or related field a plus

Salary range: 300K- 320K OTE
