Steeped in history and success while embracing strategic innovation, our programs compete at the highest level and strive for national championships.Job Summary Create video content, provide creative direction, and oversee all aspects of video production consistent with program objectives. Activities range from research, development, treatment writing, story-boarding, budgeting, scripting, scheduling, lighting, editing, music selection, graphics creation, post-production special effects, talent selection, and duplication. This position will interact on a consistent basis with faculty, staff, vendors, and external audiences.Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders and campus clients to create a concept into a script or event for production; may prepare production proposals.Use creative discretion to oversee pre-production to include but not limited to scripting, location scouting, and talent search.Determine key deliverable dates and provide estimation of costs.Oversee execution of video productions determining techniques used to set up camera and lighting.Responsible for video and sound editing, special effects, and graphics editing.Remain current with trends and developments in video technology and markets.Maintain existing video library and coordinate use of the production studio/control room/analog edit-duplication room. Maintain equipment and report problems.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications

Educational RequirementsTechnical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required ExperienceFour to five years of job related experience.Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification.Preferred Educational QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Video Production, Communications, English or related field.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities This job requires working knowledge in all areas of video production with emphasis on non-linear editing, unassisted camera operation and direction and use of specialized equipment and computer applications devoted to video production and editing. Application of creativity and skills in organization, writing, copy editing and customer service are also required.
