This role is ideal for someone with a passion for video production, creative problem-solving, and social media trends. Working closely with our Social Media Manager and Creative Director, you’ll create engaging content that aligns with our brand voice. You’ll be responsible for crafting engaging content that promotes and markets our brand, products, events and retail stores. Your role will involve producing captivating videos, telling compelling stories, and managing our digital platforms. By working with influencers and ensuring our brand’s voice is consistently represented, you’ll elevate our online presence and foster meaningful connections with our community. Your creativity and dedication to exceptional storytelling will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand’s digital experience.Key Responsibilities:Video Production and Editing:Plan, record, and edit video content.Be comfortable on camera for various types of content.Proficiently record and edit videos of others to tell a visual story.Plan content based on broader social media trends and audience-specific requests (e.g., packaging and styling videos).Shoot and edit videos in line with social media best practices, including transitions and effects.Creative Problem Solving:Solve problems creatively and adapt quickly to different environments with ease.Example: Video shot for an event might not be detailed and planned, but you will need to quickly find organic shots and work with staff and customers to get content.Tool Proficiency:Utilize industry-standard tools such as Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.Edit on the fly using tools like TikTok, Instagram editor, or CapCut.Use scheduling apps such as Planoly and Facebook Scheduler to manage social media content.Content Planning and Collaboration:Plan the Instagram grid alongside the Social Media Manager with direction from the Creative Director.Support the Social Media Manager in working with influencers to plan content.Acquire creative assets from multiple sources and publish across social media channels.Collaborate with cross-functional teams when needed, to source and deliver all the necessary information for content production.Work with Social Media Manager to ensure any relevant social analytics data is documented and inputted into an internal database.Brand Application:Understand how to apply branding to social media.Ensure that visual tone, video editing, and other elements reflect the brand voice.Ideal Candidate:Creative and Innovative:
