Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth, developing innovative marketing strategies, and providing leadership to our sales team. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record in achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets effectively.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create impactful campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team in negotiating and closing deals successfully.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for the sales team members and offer constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
Skills:
Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within technology or technical sales environments.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on negotiation and relationship building.
Proficiency in analyzing market data, identifying trends, and developing effective strategies.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is advantageous.
Knowledge of customer service principles and account management techniques.
