The Lead - Marketing Strategy & Planning will effectively develop and implement global and regional strategies and plans which will provide sustainable competitive advantage and maximise growth and long-term profitability of our portfolios in North America.We are open to this person sitting anywhere in North America.What you will be doing

Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions.Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing and commercial activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries (SAP, PowerBI), spreadsheet (Excel) models, statistical analysis tools, and external market research firms (Wood Mackenzie, Green Markets).Create PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments.Provide data and analytics to support strategic direction and ensure alignment between the Product Market Plans and the Manufacturing, Distribution and Commercial Plans.Engage with internal and external customers through Regional Account, Global Customer Management Teams and Internal Stakeholders, as the market intelligence authority and representing the voice of the customer.What you will bring

3+ years in market research, data analytics, or other relevant industries experience with bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline or similar. Or 5+ years relevant experience.Must have solid

experience in the mining/blasting/explosivesindustrySelf-driven on developing and executing project work.Commitment to safety.Strong communication and influencing skillsCritical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.Familiarity with 4s and processes within.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Results orientated, strategic thinking and holding others accountable.Collaborative and ensures communication with all key stakeholders to achieve success.Role dimensions

No direct reportsRegional business turnover of over US$1B per annum1,000+ customersMust be open to reporting to the Centennial, CO office at least three days a week, if located in the Denver area.Preferred Experience & Qualifications

Broad based knowledge of mining & explosives markets in North America.Familiarity with blasting operations, delivery systems, and applications.Experience in leading projects / initiatives with cross functional and customer stakeholders.Builds the trust of others both internally and externally.Builds resilience and flexibility; adapts well to new circumstances and adversity.Your Qualifications

Professional experience working in MI2O2C processes and transactionsExperience influencing key stakeholdersExperience working in the business or within the industryWork permit in Canada and USA preferred but not essential. • $97,800 - $136,920 per year (For US candidates, salary range will vary outside of the US and based on experience)• Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
