These include detailed planning of ABM campaigns, planning and executing strategic events, executing and measuring key activities, all aimed at assisting the Americas region in achieving its strategic sales objectives. Collaboration across different functions is crucial to align campaign goals, ensure successful engagement with Sales & Marketing personnel, and find innovative ways to assist partner and customer teams in achieving their goals. This will be done while leveraging the global marketing organization for scalability and support.If you can perform these tasks with integrity and creativity, focusing on agility and results, and have a passion to contribute to building the best field and channel team in the industry, we'd love to hear from you!Typical Duties and ResponsibilitiesDetail Planning and execution of Ciena-led and Partner-led events, leveraging and adapting corporate marketing programs, content and activities to help promote Ciena brand awareness.Work closely with partners to help drive their go-to-market strategy and success in the field and maximize ROI on all MDF investments.Support field marketing team in MDF administrative tasks, including optimization of the use of CPN tools (Ansira, etc.)Support Account Based Marketing (ABM) engagements for partners, including strategy, research, tactics, etc.Work closely with partner agencies, project managing and working together as required.Support creative development of direct mailers, email, digital ads, posters, handouts, postcards, etc., tied to specific campaigns.Candidate ProfileProven interpersonal skills with a track record of achieving results through alignment of cross-functional and multi-divisional activities in a highly collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.Strong project management, organizational and administrative and planning and implementation skills for multiple deadline driven activities.Ability and confidence to work in a virtual team, in a sales-oriented environment.Track record with experience in using social, online, and traditional social principles and techniques.Innovative and creative mind-set, willingness to push boundaries.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized and motivated.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Confident self-starter.Education & Experience2 years experience with Optical Technology (Engineering or marketing).Marketing event experience is a plus.Experience in driving activities including marketing and ABM campaigns, events, communications.Ability to analyze data and provide insights.Excellent writing & verbal communication skills.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual pay range for this position in Canada is $67,500 - $107,700 CAD.The annual pay range for this position in the US is $80,000 - $127,800 USD.

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
