Associate Producer at Tuacahn:
The Associate Producer will assist the Artistic Director and work with the Associate Artistic Producer and Company manager as a liaison between the Creatives for each of the shows and Production management.
The Associate Producer will interact with Directors, Choreographers, Scenic Designers, Costume Designers, Lighting Designers, Sound Designers, Video Designers, Hair and Make-up Designers, Special Effects Designers and Puppet Designers and their assistants in following through with their timelines, sketches, designs and if needed, application based draftings, of their proposed collaborations.
The Associate Producer, with the Artistic staff, Company Management team and Production Management team, help establish all timelines and calendars to achieve these goals in the mutually agreed upon timeframe.
The Associate Producer will be responsible for managing and maintaining productions when Artistic Director and associate Producer are away on auditions.
Other communication will be required with the designers as the Artistic Director sees beneficial.
A background in any of the following will be required: Theater Direction,Theatrical Producing, Choreography, Stage Management, Technical Theater.
