This role supports the Social Media Manager in creating and publishing platform-authentic UGC-style content, engaging with our community, and developing strategies to boost brand awareness and desirability for our key product offerings. The ideal candidate is passionate about online trends and pop culture, always knowing where PopSockets should be part of the conversation. They will also have a keen eye for how we come to life through social media, constantly spotting and recommending new ways to bring the brand to life and engage our community.

Responsibilities:

Own social listening by monitoring channels and engaging in conversations about our brand and pop culture.Act as the brand’s voice by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in ways that reflect our brand and bring it to life authentically.Assist in scheduling organic content to ensure timely posts aligned with the marketing calendar.Self-shoot and edit relevant UGC-style content on TikTok and Instagram, covering diverse topics like product knowledge, fashion, and sound bites.Conduct weekly TikTok and Instagram trend research; create and execute content based on findings.Organize content through proper file naming and folder storage for easy access.Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.2-3 years of organic social or brand marketing experience. Comfortable being on camera and acting as a brand voice/face online with the social media manager.Candidates with a portfolio of existing content creation for brands or personal socials, but we're also open to those without formal experience if they can demonstrate their personality and editing skills through examples.Strong understanding of the social media landscape and trends.Bonus:

Chronically online; passionate about how popular culture is created and shared through social.Can speak PopSockets fluently (understanding of our target audience and brand voice is a major plus!).Innate love and understanding for why PopSockets has infinite upside.Optimistic in all things!
