This position is based in Santa Fe, NM. In-person work is critical to the creative practice at Meow Wolf and invaluable to the culture of our creative teams.Job Summary:The VP, Executive Creative Producer is an enterprising creative leader who develops and drives the creative delivery strategy for future exhibitions, exhibition updates, and other special projects within the Meow Wolf Universe. You will guide and champion the creative direction of a project team, steering them from concept to reality through strategic planning, collaboration, and visionary leadership. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this expansive role demands a multidisciplinary approach: combining visionary creative leadership, strategic thinking, process integration, and team building.As the head of the creative management team (Producers and Coordinators), you will lead and inspire your team to ensure they achieve the project's creative vision while aligning with the strategic goals and business objectives, and delivering against the project scope and delivery plan. You will provide guidance, at an executive level, throughout the lifecycle process by creating standards of practices, deliverables, process flows, and improvement. You will approve strategic decisions and ensure your team is equipped with the skills needed to drive the development of new exhibitions and other projects through emerging concepts and experiences.This role requires a hands-on approach. You will be accountable for, but not limited to: assessment of proposed development goals, oversight of project goals and milestones, status reports, risk assessment, and overall financial targets.Job Requirements:You shape the future of Meow Wolf creative delivery strategy and approach.As a key exhibition development executive leader, you collaborate on and are responsible for the strategy, goals, priorities, risks identification, and risk mitigation of exhibition projects, as well as the processes and structures that will optimize overall project delivery and the effectiveness of our project teams.Contribute to the definition of each project's vision and goals, clarifying its role in the overall MWU creative vision and company strategy.Develop standards, processes, best practices and other applicable design management tools for the overall project development pipeline from ideation to opening.Collaborate with creative leadership as an advocate for the appropriate balance of our creative pillars (Art, Story, Interactivity and Brand) and the needs of the business, including operational, financial, and marketing considerations.Contribute to menu planning and roadmap development for next 5+ years.You contribute to the growth of the Meow Wolf Universe by delivering compelling new experiences for our guests.Support project team's leadership through the creative development of large-scale projects through all lifecycle phases.In collaboration with the VP, Executive Creative Director, ensure all projects have a clearly established creative vision based on defined creative strategy and goals.Influence the definition, scope and timeline of project deliverables.Align across project's leadership team the prioritization on project timelines, scope, and deliverables.Oversee Senior Leadership project and strategy updates along with guidance to the project team on feedback integration and recommendations.You are highly creative, a strategic thinker with a passion for immersive art and experiences.You develop and lead the Creative Management team to excellence.Manage department resource planning to ensure availability of talent and continuity of work to support exhibition development, expansion or refresh, and other special projects or initiatives.Set and drive departmental goals and objectives that align with company strategy and vision.Build and maintain relationships with fellow leaders, internal stakeholders, external partners, artists, and collaborators to foster a collaborative and supportive creative environment.Create opportunities for training and skill development in both soft and hard skills to ensure the creative management team guides and champions the creative direction of a project team.Develop internal pipeline of promotion of providing growth opportunities and leadership development.Mentor to advance your team's abilities in achieving a Project's creative intent to deliver, while aligning with business objectives, scope management, resource planning, and overall delivery strategy.Provide effective feedback through substantive 1:1s, annual performance reviews, and other effective performance management strategies.Foster an environment of trust, transparency, communication, collaboration, delegation and empowerment.IMPACT:
