The good news? We’ve just finished the first milestone in turning tech-artists.org into a legal nonprofit! This is going to help ensure the stability and longevity of the site and the community.The bad news? We’ve only got a couple of months of hosting left. Plus, if we want to get full tax-exempt status – which will make it easier for us to do things like get discount hosting for our online chat, or offer educational programs – we need to raise about the equivalent of a full year’s hosting costs to cover the IRS filing fees.So … how about hitting the tech-art tipjar to help keep the site up and healthy?Job Responsibilities:

5+ years’ experience rigging/skinning characters in Maya on a shipped MMO, mobile, PC, or console game.Demo Reel with shot breakdown showing rigging/simulation and technical proficiency.Game production experience and tech fluency in one development scripting language such as Python, MEL, C# or C++.Solid understanding of rigging realistic humanoid characters and creatures (FPS rigs a plus), with high proficiency in character skinning, physics, and technical workflows.Experience creating custom tools, and a wide suite of content authoring tools currently used in the industry.Strong debugging skills, ability to fix and troubleshoot workflow issues in artist software, version control systems, and rendering issues within game engines.Ability to create art content that is performant for runtime and appropriate for modern mobile & console game hardware.Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines.Strong ability to work independently.Experience supporting art teams in game development environment.Demo materials link is required & should include sample visuals of characters, projects, rigs or production tools.Please find the below link for more details where you can apply directly.
