As a Grocery Dcommerce Content Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Grocery Dcommerce team by ensuring the optimization of content across various grocery retailers. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and enhance product content to maximize visibility, engagement, and sales. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, prioritization abilities, and effective communication.Key Responsibilities:

Content Optimization:

Collaborate with the Grocery Dcommerce team to optimize product content across different online platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and relevance. Utilize tools such as Syndigo, Salsify, and Client to manage and enhance product data.Syndigo, Salsify, and Client Expertise:

Leverage your expertise in Syndigo, Salsify, and Client to efficiently manage product content, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices. Stay updated on platform advancements and proactively incorporate new features for improved performance.Problem Solving:

Identify and address content-related challenges, including data discrepancies, missing information, or technical issues. Develop creative solutions to enhance content quality and effectiveness, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.Prioritization and Multitasking:

Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Prioritize tasks based on business objectives, ensuring timely completion of content-related initiatives.Self-Learning:

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to e-commerce and content management. Continuously expand your knowledge and skill set to adapt to evolving demands in the digital retail landscape.Communication Skills:

Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and grocery retailers (Kroger, Meijer, HEB, Albertsons, ADUSA, and Wakefern) to align on content requirements, resolve issues, and drive consensus on content strategies. Maintain clear and concise documentation of content-related processes and guidelines.Follow-Up and Accountability:

Take ownership of content initiatives from inception to execution, ensuring thorough follow-up and accountability throughout the content optimization process. Monitor content performance metrics and implement adjustments as needed to drive continuous improvement.Organization:

Maintain organized workflows, documentation, and data repositories to streamline content management processes and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Develop and maintain content calendars to track updates and ensure content freshness across platforms.What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of digital content experience.Demonstrated project management skills.Proficiency in utilizing Syndigo, Salsify or similar platforms for content management.Skilled in Microsoft Excel, and comfortable with basic Excel functions, such as pivot tables, v-lookups, dashboards, etc.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.Exceptional prioritization and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.Self-motivated and proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to maintain structured workflows and documentation.
