AMSOIL INC. is looking for a Product Marketing Coordinator as part of the Automotive Product Marketing Team. In this role you will assist with the entire lifecycle of our product portfolio, from planning, execution, and ongoing management. The ideal candidate will have experience in product marketing, an understanding of product positioning and market trends, and the ability to help drive product strategies that align with the Company's overall objectives. This position allows for a hybrid work schedule sharing time between an office setting in Superior, Wisconsin, and a home office.Core Responsibilities:Assist in the execution of product portfolio strategy aligned with the Company's business goals and market trends.Regularly assess and report on portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements to the product portfolio, pricing strategy and category product plan.Help manage a variety of projects of varying complexity.Product Lifecycle Management:Participate in product lifecycle management, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring that each product meets quality standards and market demands.Collaborate with, and lead cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and operations to drive successful product development launches through the Stage Gate process.Market Analysis and Research:Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, emerging technologies, pricing, and customer needs.Analyze market data to contribute insights that shape product positioning, marketing strategies and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.Content Creation and Development:Assist in developing compelling and effective product messaging for various channels, including websites, social media, and marketing collateral.Coordinate the creation of marketing claims measuring our products against industry standards or competitive products.Sales and Technical Support:Provide support to the sales and customer service teams with relevant market intelligence and technical information.Assist in the development of sales tools and resources.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, product management, or related field.Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.Experience in product management or product portfolio management.Analytical and strategic thinking skills.Knowledge of marketing trends, best practices, and resources.Basic knowledge of common financials; cost of goods sold, gross margin, etc.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail oriented with excellent organization and project management abilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office products.Understanding of channel strategy, buyer personas, market and sales funnels, value propositions and brand position.Preferred Requirements:Experience working in the lubrication or similar industry.If you are passionate about the automotive aftermarket or product marketing and thrive in a collaborative setting, we invite you to apply for the position of Product Marketing Coordinator at AMSOIL.
