As a Social Content Creator at Thrivent, you’ll generate limitless ideas and write creative copy that drives relevancy and engagement for the brand across all current and emerging social channels.The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, tirelessly following content trends, and understands how to leverage channel capabilities to maximize creative impact. This person is willing to jump in when and where it’s necessary to create amazing content.Reporting to the Verbal Creative Lead, this person is a natural champion for the target audience we seek to engage. To exceed expectations, this person will also bring expertise in understanding data analytics and helping channel owners interpret the results of the creative to continue to optimize the work in real time.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Generates ideas and writes original brand content for all of Thrivent’s social channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other emerging social media channels.Brings energy to the creative and drives collaboration with teammates and channel experts, always chasing trends.Understands natively how to build content within social platforms (i.e. Instagram Creator Tools) and can provide creative guidance and direction on social assets within platforms.Understands how to apply research on consumer sentiments towards our products and services, does proactive outreach to subject-matter experts based on the content being produced, translates technical product lingo into consumer-first benefit language, and loves to gain a thorough understanding of the subject matter of the content.Leads and participates in brainstorms for inventive content ideas and topics that drive social engagement.Leads creative work with a strong understanding of the voice of the brand; interpreting creative and channel feedback with ease and providing definite direction on where to take the work next.Works collaboratively with other writers, creative director, art directors, designers, channel owners, internal clients, and external agencies.Solves creative challenges and takes pride in the quality of the work.Brings solid creative presentation skills and can confidently share work with key project stakeholders.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Required: 5+ years relevant experience developing social content at an agency or within an internal creative team.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, English, Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field and/or equivalent experience.Ability to thrive under pressure while multitasking, adhering to sometimes tight deadlines while maintaining collaborative relationships with colleagues.High level of organization skills, understanding creative development processes and a thorough ability to execute.Excellent human relations skills, tact, good listening and consulting skills, and an exceptional customer service mindset.Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task with an agile mindset.Preferred:Experience in consumer financial services and with a distributed sales force - banking, lending, debt solutions, or fintech.Certification in Social Media or Social Advertising.Pay Transparency:

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $77,988.00 - $105,514.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.Benefits:
