THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION; THIS POSITION IS IN OFFICE IN RANCHO CORDOVA, CAPOSITION SUMMARY:We are a leading manufacturer of portable machining solutions, committed to delivering high-quality products to our clients. We have recently transitioned to NetSuite to enhance the transparency and efficiency of our data management. Our marketing communications are managed by an external third party, and we are seeking a dedicated Marketing Operations Specialist to join our team. The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for analyzing marketing data, participating in trade shows, building and maintaining dashboards for the team, and performing various other tasks to support our external marketing company. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between our internal sales and external marketing efforts, ensuring seamless and effective marketing operations.TYPICAL DUTIES:Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Utilize NetSuite to ensure data accuracy and transparency.Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to track KPIs, campaign performance, and other metrics. Ensure that the sales and marketing teams have access to up-to-date information.Trade Show Participation: Plan, organize, and participate in trade shows and industry events. Coordinate logistics, manage booth setup, and engage with potential clients and partners.Collaboration: Work closely with the sales manager and external marketing company to align marketing strategies with sales goals. Ensure that all marketing activities support overall business objectives.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, performance, and ROI. Present findings to the management team and provide actionable insights.Marketing Support: Assist with the creation of marketing materials, campaign planning, and other marketing activities as needed. Ensure that all marketing efforts are cohesive and aligned with the company’s brand and objectives.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance marketing effectiveness.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience in marketing operations, data analysis, or a related role.Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.Experience with dashboard creation and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Viewing computer screen/monitorUtilizing keyboardAnswering phone/making callsWORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise.DISCLAIMER:The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
