Are you in?Your Mission: Design the experience of how any developer on earth can tap into the Sage Network Platform by way of APIs. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to define end-to-end developer experience from ideation to launch.Tech stack: You’ll work with Figma and expand (or gain) FinTech experience. Your ability to influence with data, logic, and openness to proactively welcome and incorporate feedback will be the key to your success.Meet Your New Team & the Sage Network DevEx SquadYour immediate colleagues will consist of 4 Product Designers and a UX Researcher, all reporting to a Sr. Director of Product Design & Research, who trusts and empowers the team to do what they do best. The Sage Network squad acts like a start-up; they are given the reins to move quickly and make decisions. You’ll join a larger group consisting of product managers and dedicated engineers.Location: Hybrid 2 days per week of in-office collaboration from our Atlanta, GA office.Minimum Qualifications:5 years of experience as a Product Designer/UX Designer, crafting user-centric design solutions across desktop, mobile, or web platforms.Ability to share an online portfolio that demonstrates how you frame user problems, design solutions, and user validation.You will have a strong background in Developer ecosystems and APIs and understand them from commercial and technical angles.You can provide examples of how you’ve collaborated with researchers, performed usability testing, built user flows, early wireframing concepts, and prototyping.You’ve conducted rigorous research and user testing, using quantitative and qualitative data, to validate design choices for a seamless end-to-end user experience.You’re known for being an effective communicator who can clearly articulate design decisions and rationales, with a ‘show early and often’ mentality.You deeply value working with others to achieve a common goal.You believe in being kind and having fun at work.You’re a Figma power user.Ideally, but not required:Experience with accounting/financial management/ERP software solutionsYou’ve been successful at a start-up but are ready for a stable, large, global organization.What You’ll Do:Seek to develop a deep knowledge of the user base (accounting application developers) and apply a UCD (user-centered design) approach to iterating on the design based on user feedback.Research what’s needed, assemble data about how developers engage with our products, document your findings, design end-to-end experiences, and create prototypes to explain your designs.Work closely with your design counterparts, PMs, and engineering to foster an exceptional collaborative environment and deliver effective solutions.Participate in design critique sessions, design jams, and design systems meetings to help improve not only the design but also challenge your peers to keep enhancing their crafts.Track industry trends and competitive landscape to contribute to strategic product design.Contribute to our growing design systems and develop new patterns and standards across our Sage Network Platform; up to 10% of your time is allocated to design systems contribution.Serve as the internal (sales, support, partner channel) and external evangelist for the Sage Network Platform.Perks?
