E-Commerce Marketing Manager – Rescue and Utility

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Marketing Manager to lead our online marketing initiatives for our Rescue and Utility vertical markets, providing a world-class digital experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the BigCommerce platform, proficiency in writing ERP queries, familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, and strong business intelligence capabilities using Tableau. This role is pivotal in driving our strategy of continued market expansion into the Rescue and Utility gear markets, enhancing customer engagement, and boosting sales performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for our Rescue and Utility gear e-commerce platforms, focusing on maximizing ROI and customer acquisition.

Manage all aspects of marketing operations on the BigCommerce platform, ensuring seamless integration with our PIM system for efficient product information management.

Collaborate with industry-specific subject matter experts to provide timely and relevant site content and product assortment recommendations.

Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns, leveraging ERP data queries to segment and reach the desired audience effectively.

Utilize Tableau to analyze marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize marketing efforts.

Collaborate with product teams and sales to align marketing strategies with product launches and promotions.

Oversee the creation of marketing content and promotional materials, ensuring they are aligned with brand guidelines and e-commerce objectives.

Monitor and optimize SEO and PPC strategies to improve search rankings and drive traffic to the Rescue and Utility e-commerce sites.

Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, setting clear goals and KPIs, and providing training and development opportunities.

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices to continuously improve our marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

Customer focus with a strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of customers in the Rescue and Utility space.

Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, specifically within a B2B environment.

Proven experience managing e-commerce platforms, particularly BigCommerce.

Strong analytical skills with experience in ERP data query writing and proficiency in using Tableau for business intelligence.

In-depth knowledge of PIM systems and their integration into e-commerce platforms.

Ability to gauge site behavior using Google Analytics or similar platform.

Experience with email, SMS campaign creation and workflow automation using an email service provider.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Creativity and strategic thinking, with a strong problem-solving orientation.

Knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, demand generation, and social media best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in BigCommerce, NetSuite, Klaviyo, and Tableau.

Experience in digital marketing automation tools.

Advanced degree in a relevant field.
