SUMMARY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and manage the Marketing & Communications strategyThe generation of leadsSales & Marketing campaign processOverall Brand RecognitionBusiness DevelopmentCustomer ExperienceContent CreationJOB DUTIES:Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with the company's overall business objectives.Manage and oversee the marketing team, including providing guidance and mentorship.Develop and implement marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including digital, social media, public relations, and events.Ability to assess the marketing campaign's success.Manage the marketing budget and track ROI.Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.Work closely with the Product Team to help identify new products as well as market new products.Provide feedback on new products as well as new geographical areas.Provide sales teams with demographics by products and lists of businesses that align with that profile.Develop and manage relationships with key influencers and media outlets.Stay up to date on the latest marketing trends and technologies.MANAGEMENT EXPECTATIONS:The Marketing Manager is responsible for understanding their strengths and weaknesses and striving towards continuous skill-set improvement in areas associated with the Management Expectations:Team BuildingStaffingProcessTraining & Development

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Strong writing acumenAbility to understand Northland’s strengths and market them accordingly1 year of management of 2 or more direct reportsAbility to create a marketing strategy and have metrics to measure success

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:At least 5+ years of marketing experience.Bachelor's degree in marketing or communicationsOutsourcing and communication experience.Ability to roll up your sleeves and work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environmentSharp critical thinking skillsProduction management experience requiredPrevious experience managing a team and external vendorsA strong eye for designExcellent writing, proofreading, editing, and video skillsIndustry experience strongly preferredExperience with HubSpot desiredExperience with search engine optimization is a plusExperience in design programs, i.e. InDesign, Photoshop is a plusActive online social media presence

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:Ability to reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES USED:Ability to use voicemail, telephone, calculator, computer, printer, and photocopier.
