The Manager of UX Design & Research is responsible for managing a team of UX designers and researchers, as well as working with the Director of UX Design & Research to help define and drive the User Experience strategy and direction for products for Precisely.This person will derive competitive insights, influence and collaborate with a variety of teams to provide consistency and vision for the usability of our products across multiple business domain areas, and they will assist R&D leadership in driving our UX strategy.They will also help the director develop strategies to create synergies around processes and tools that ensure not only consistency, but more importantly, the highest levels of usability in our industry through user research, usability testing, visual and interactive design, and other UX techniques.Work with UX director to define, measure, and deliver on the UX strategy for Precisely.Ensure design and research teams are focused on the delivery of strategic and high-priority projects.Work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional product teams including architects, engineers, information development, product managers, and other subject matter experts to create user-focused global solutions.Ensure user research is conducted including competitive analysis and studies to understand customer behavior, refine design approaches, and validate solutions.Ensure consistent and effective processes are utilized to create high-quality designs using best practices for DesignOps and the Precisely Prism Design System.Work with UX and product leadership to improve and measure progress against Design thinking maturity.Communicate status, risks, and constraints to senior leadership on a regular basis.Assist in creating a positive work environment.Additional responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees as needed; assisting with project planning; managing personnel and appraising performance.Salary Range
