ROLE SUMMARY:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working with the Marketing Manager to implement the company’s overall strategic marketing plan. The role will assist in managing website content and design, social media communication, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and any other marketing materials for promotional and/or sponsored events as well as business to business sales and recruiting. Oversee and execute all internal and external communications through various media including print, digital and video.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Outreach Coordination:

Work with established team champions to maximize community outreach events and work to build more team champions throughout the company.Marketing Management:

Coordination for branding and marketing events. Maintain partnerships with community organizations and businesses to support the B & I mission.Assist in the development and coordination of company branding materials.Organize and maintain all trade show event materials to include booth visuals and logo giveaways.Create content, art, graphic design, etc. for ads of all sponsorships when appropriate.Monitor and complete yearly industry or local business recognitions.Evaluate existing and new industry and local business recognitions to maximize the value of these activities.Responsible for company website content to ensure frequency, consistency, and accuracy.Responsible for maintaining an active social media presence regarding B&I activities.Maintain advertising process for B & I including design of ads, placement in various publications and websites.Direct, produce and maintain photography, video, graphics and other print visuals.Manage the development of visuals and layouts for proposal submissions. Event management.Internal and External Communications:

Create and maintain monthly and/or quarterly press releases to include:New Employees – New Projects – Company News.Develop story, copy and speech writing.Develop and deliver compelling, consistent messages, content and events for employees that reflect B & I’s culture and core values via multiple channels.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in marketing.Be able to adapt to change in the work environment, manage demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Possess strong time management, organizational and technical skills.Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.Experience and/or common understanding of the Commercial Construction Industry a plus.SAFETY AWARENESS:Executes all tasks in a safe manner and utilizes safe work practices as appropriate.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 lbs.Equal Opportunity Employer:B & I Contractors, Inc.
