MarisellaBodrero.com is looking for a Social Media Coordinator. This person will assist us in all things social media management for our company.This position is virtual, so most of your communication with us will be on Slack & Zoom.Due to the team aspect of this position, we will be asking you to be on the clock during standard PST business hours to start. The company is home-based in Los Angeles, CA and operates during standard normal PST hours.This is a part-time $22 an hour contractor position to start. Expect to start working 8-10 hours each week with our social media strategist and founder to get you trained up and rolling on our process! This position has an opportunity to scale to additional weekly hours as marketing needs organically evolve.If you are driven by the racial disparities we see in technology, educating black/brown/Latina women on truly what is possible for their career, feel intuitively creative, and thrive on doing edge-snatching social strategies through publishing content, you may be who we are looking for!WHO WE ARE:The mission of Marisella Bodrero coaching is to help liberate Black and Latina women who are on the journey of ending generational cycles. We educate women to see what is possible by providing the best educational tools and mentorship through our signature 12-week break into tech bootcamp-style program.Marisella has over 12 years of training in tech, coaching cohorts, and speaking. If you are not ok with things changing up a bit from time to time, it may not be a fit.WHAT YOU DO:Your role with the team is to support us in moving the needle forward in content disruption throughout all relevant social platforms.Your daily tasks will be centered around supporting us in execution, copywriting, editing videos for our clients’ social media pages. We mainly utilize our Instagram, TikTok & LinkedIn accounts while knowing our future plans have YouTube included. Our major focus is on Instagram & TikTok at the current moment.Responsibilities:Posting content live to all relevant social platforms (TikTok)Scheduling content using a social media scheduling toolSupport responding to comments & DMsSupport making IG stories in Canva to promote client events & programsUpdating & researching relevant hashtagsPulling data & analytics monthly from Instagram, Facebook, & TikTokAbility to push posts live manually when needed (IGTV, IG Stories, TikToks, etc)Support with whatever the team might need in relation to social media!Repurposing content to help us maximize reach across all relevant platformsSupport with timestamping lives, coaching calls, & older videos for repurposing them to bite-sized social media posts - we use ClipScribe to make the clips ready for socialWe will be able to train you and support you with this partEventually, we will have you write copy for our pages based on past contentWe will start out giving you guidelines for exactly what needs to be written, but we are looking for someone who understands social media copy who can really support us in this role.Requirements:Understanding of social media platformsVery comfortable using TikTok, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn etcPrevious experience running social media accountsCan take feedback without taking it personallyProficient in Google Suite (Specifically Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, & Slides)Proficient in CanvaUnderstand Black and Latina millennial and genz culture with music, trends, and communicationAdditional Preferences:Graphic Design abilities with edgy styleYou have an iPhoneYouTube understanding of how the coaching + expert industry works. General idea on how these spaces operateChance to grow fast within our woman-owned company. You will see the roots come to fruition through our social strategy and learn a lotWorking with a DOPE team! Seriously we blast Beyonce and Selena before meetings to make sure the vibe is rightRemote work from anywhere!
