POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing works closely with the CEO and is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the company’s short-term and long-term commercial strategies.BENEFITS:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off401(k)401(k) matchingTuition reimbursementEmployee assistance programPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Uphold the company values, vision, and mission.Develop a comprehensive commercial strategy in the medical device and aerospace components industries.Drive existing relationships while garnering new business across the platform.Lead quoting for all locations and manage customer service activities.Implement and maintain sales processes designed to achieve specific sales objectives.Manage the implementation, integration, and use of the Salesforce platform.Generate and qualify new leads and use different approaches to penetrate prospective accounts.Monitor market trends and provide regular market analysis while leading the company successfully in a competitive contracting environment.Develop an effective business plan and establish measurable KPIs to ensure success in our business.Negotiate long-term agreements and develop pricing strategies with customers.Drive customer-focused collaboration, raise awareness, and ensure appropriate action toward market opportunities in conjunction with the individual business unit Marketing & Sales team.Build and maintain strong personal relationships with existing customers and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Develop new customers to generate growth in each business unit.Lead the creation and administration of the annual commercial bookings budget while managing a team accountability structure.Drive a monthly sales forecasting process to ensure accurate P/L forecasts are completed.Provide sales and negotiation support to the CEO and CFO.Manage the company-wide marketing, sales, and quoting staff.Oversee and manage the marketing efforts of the organization to include the website, trade shows, collateral, etc.Create sales and marketing plans.EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business required; MBA preferred.Significant experience (15 years minimum) in the medical device or aerospace components manufacturing markets required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:Ability to create, format, analyze and share information in spreadsheets using logical, statistical, and mathematical functions.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and effectively solve problems.Proactive, early identification of issues/problems that may arise.Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, focused on the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the Company and Customer.Works effectively to socialize ideas and build successful working relationships as a team member.Analytical capabilities with a strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and familiarity with project management software tools.Works independently with minimal direction, to drive on-time delivery of work product.Highly organized, attentive to detail and committed to quality work.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work remotelyManufacturing floor environmentsEXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:Extended hours/shiftWeekend work may be required from time to time.TRAVEL:Up to 50% travel
