JOB DESCRIPTIONHeartland is looking for a driven In-House Marketing and Community Outreach Specialist to be part of our growing team. This person will be responsible for the activities and actions related to promoting the agency’s comprehensive programs and services to the community, patients and families. This person will be responsible for in-person community outreach with medical professionals, healthcare providers, community members, and organizations to promote outstanding relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Identifies, builds, and fosters strategic key relationships between Heartland and the community to include settings such as: Hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, Outpatient clinics, Chamber of Commerce offices, Senior Centers, etc.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to gain brand awareness and community engagement.

Conduct market research to identify target audiences and evaluate market trends.

Design and execute successful marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions that lead to service referrals.

Create, coordinate and maintain event calendar for all upcoming events and sponsorships.

Ability to create strategic copywriting for various marketing materials, including website content, social media, and digital as well as print advertisements.

Monitor industry trends and best practices in healthcare marketing.

Established (or demonstrated ability to develop) healthcare contacts within the Black Hills Area and be able to readily network and speak to Agency’s comprehensive services.

Assist in daily office responsibilities and tasks, such as answering phones, managing incoming faxes, creating admission folders, etc.

Create and monitor job posting platforms as directed for incoming applications.

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS :

Proven comfortability in spearheading community outreach efforts in multiple communities.

Proficiency in developing successful marketing campaigns to include, but not limited to, community outreach, print ads, and social and digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.

Strong understanding of target market and ability to speak directly to them through various marketing materials.

Experience in social media marketing, including content creation, copywriting, and social media management.

Knowledge of marketing platforms and growth strategies/tactics specific to healthcare marketing.

Familiarity with print advertising.

Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for different resources.

Familiarity with website management software (specifically WordPress).

Working knowledge of writing strategic performance keyword driven blogs to showcase Heartland.

Understanding of marketing metrics, KPIs, and strategies and the ability to accurately measure, analyze, and track them.

Demonstrated understanding of collaborative relationships and their impact on overall campaign success

Understanding of the importance of Community Outreach to successful Marketing and the role Marketing has in overall Agency goal attainment.
