WHO WE'RE ENVISIONING:We are looking for an individual who is passionate about curating content to further the purposes of Jesus through Antioch Waco Media. Our ideal Multimedia Specialist is highly skilled in video filming and editing, proactive regarding work and skill-development, loves working with people, and maintains a low-drama approach. This person is project-oriented and commits to seeing projects through from brainstorming stages to finals.SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:The Multimedia Specialist works alongside the Communications Team on various kinds of media projects for Antioch Waco. This includes, but is not limited to, producing video, photo, graphics, and other forms of multimedia. This position requires an advanced level of experience with all things video, including camera shooting techniques, video lighting, sound recording, and above-average post-production/editing capabilities.

The Multimedia Specialist should possess a passion for storytelling through multiple forms of media and a strong grasp on tone as it relates to content creation. This position requires a demonstrated knowledge of the Adobe Suite. The Multimedia Specialist will need to execute projects quickly, often with a short turnaround time. Projects assigned to the Multimedia Specialist will require client interaction and feedback, and content will need to be produced in line with the client’s request and vision with the Assistant Communications Director, Communications Director, and any other applicable teams or people per project.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Antioch Waco.Assists other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.Basic personal responsibilities:

Understand, engage, and personally own the mission, vision, and values of Antioch Waco and the overall church goals.Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with Jesus through committed time to the Word, worship, and prayer.Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).Faithfully support the ministries of Antioch Waco by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Antioch Waco (Colossians 3:23-24).

ROLES SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Content Creation:

Produces content for Antioch Waco from beginning to end for social media, events, and corporate services. This includes, but is not limited to, video, photo, or graphics.Creative Strategy:

Contributes to the development of planning content as it pertains to Antioch Waco and its goals.Media Archiving:

Oversees gathering of all video footage at Antioch Waco events as assigned by the manager.Other:

All other duties as assigned by Content Manager.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities of permanent staff.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Owner (Member) of Antioch Waco or willing to become an Owner as a condition of employment.Active participation in an Antioch Waco Lifegroup.2+ years’ experience in video editing.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro or Davinci and After Effects.Working knowledge of codecs, frame rates, bitrates, and file formats.General understanding of design and its relationship to content creation.Technical acumen to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment.Eye for detail and driven to provide high-quality results, often with a short turnaround time.Ability to provide creative and constructive feedback for the growth of others and their projects.Coachable and teachable with the ability to receive critical feedback and adjust accordingly.Possess outstanding time-management and organizational skills that drive your ability to successfully edit video and meet deadlines.Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks.High level of initiative and drive.DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Strong Work Ethic.Adaptable.Builds Trust.Builds Relationships.Implementation.PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
