We operate across a wide variety of sports but expert knowledge of NFL, basketball, fight sports, and domestic and international soccer is desired. We want people with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of platforms and emerging digital trends. You should know social media inside out.ROLE SUMMARY

A social media native with a deep understanding of the relevant platforms.Ability to take responsibility for executing real-time and planned social media output across our flagship accounts, both during and outside of live events.First-class channel and community management, content planning, and creation.Understanding of brand sensitivity and how important tone of voice is across our different accounts.Able to contribute high-level and actionable creative ideas, big and small, on a consistent basis.Dedication to ensuring our content stands out and attracts engagement in a crowded space.Expert knowledge of the US social media landscape to ensure our content is optimized for each platform.Can ideate and deliver long and short-term social media campaigns and initiatives on their own.Able to produce quality short-form and longer social-first video edits and templated graphics.First-rate planning and organizational skills to keep across a busy calendar of sporting events and their implications for our channels.Research and report content performance for internal and external requirements.Daily collaboration across both internal teams in the US and UK, as well as externally with our client and any associated partners (broadcasters, clubs, etc.).An excellent team player, dedicated to our overall success.Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends depending on the sporting calendar.Requirements

The ideal background and skills we are looking for include:Minimum 3 years' experience in channel management and social coverage of live events, either concurrent with full-time education or in a professional setting.Experience working on digital content for sporting federations or media organizations is preferable.Knowledge, understanding, and experience of multiple social media platforms.Excellent written and verbal English skills.First-class editorial judgement and accuracy.Detailed understanding of how platforms are used to achieve business objectives.Must be able to work weekends, as well as evenings, and be flexible about working patterns to cover sport.The following would also be beneficial:Experience of using Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, video clipping tools, ideally Premiere Pro.Understanding and awareness of social media analytics, especially in helping to guide content strategy.
