In doing so, we break down the traditional barriers between sporting organizations and their customers.We currently have a growing team of over 600 Two Circlers based across Europe and North America. Our offices in New York, Kansas City, Miami and Los Angeles are rapidly expanding as our work with the NFL, FIFA, MLB, LA28 and several others continues apace.About the Role:We are looking for a social media channel manager to join our talented and growing content team in North America. The ideal candidate will know European and British domestic soccer well, its leagues, clubs, players and landscape – and social media inside out, with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of platforms and emerging digital trends. Moreover, our ideal candidate has their fingers on the pulse of culture in the US: what’s trending, what makes fans tick, how off-the-pitch American moments can influence fandom and serve as gateways to learning more and becoming a fan.This role will be located in New York City and is an in-person (not remote) role based in our Two Circles office.Role Summary:Execute real-time and planned social media output across our client’s US-focused social accounts, both during and outside of live events (European soccer calendar)Channel and community management, content planning and creationCreative ideation, big and small, on a consistent basisDaily collaboration across both internal teams in the US and UK, as well as externally with our client and any associated partners (broadcasters, clubs, etc.)Produce content which complements our clients' wider global outputDeliver long and short-term social media campaigns and initiativesExcellent community management to further enhance engagementProduce short-form social-first video edits and, when needed, templated graphicsResearch and report content performance for internal and external requirementsThe ideal background and skills we are looking for include:Minimum 2 years' experience in channel management and social coverage of live sports events, either concurrently with full-time education or in a professional settingUnderstanding of brand sensitivity and how important tone of voice isOrganized, team-player, and comfortable/experienced excelling within a thriving, live sports working environment.Experience working on digital content for sports leagues, teams, tournaments or a broadcasters/streamer is preferableStrong knowledge of social media landscape (all major social platforms) in the US to ensure our content is optimized for each platformAbility to come up with original content ideas and spot developing trends and opportunitiesUnderstanding and awareness of social media analytics, especially in helping to guide content strategyExcellent written and verbal English skillsFirst-class editorial judgement and adherence to brand safetyMobile-specific video content creation skillsMust be able to work weekends, willing to work an occasional week night, and be flexible about working patternsThe following would also be beneficial:Experience of using Adobe Suite (inc Premiere), video clipping tools (Grabyo, WSC) and social creation tools (Canva, Slate etc.)Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required.Two Circles is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
