Job Description

DVS is seeking an experienced, full-time Account Manager & Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be personable, highly motivated, and detail-oriented. This position works closely with clients to develop effective marketing strategies (inbound & outbound) and partners with internal project teams to create, execute, and optimize those plans. This person will serve as the day-to-day contact across client and agency teams and will be expected to provide proactive client management and focus on building deep and trusting client relationships.

Most importantly, the person filling this role must be flexible in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

Lead clients strategically with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive, multi-channel marketing plans that include measurable objectives and audience personas.

Create and manage multiple project schedules working with internal and external resources under the direction of cross-functional team members.

Work with the Operations Manager to manage project scope, foster timeline development, and monitor progress, ensuring deadlines are met and adhering to budget.

Ability to review and analyze data to improve the effectiveness of client campaigns and ensure they are on track to meet goals.

Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution.

Manage client expectations, bringing issues/concerns to clients' attention along with potential solutions.

Participate in new business initiatives.

Operate comfortably and effectively as a mobile worker.

Write, edit, and proof content as needed.

Desired Skills

Understanding of digital marketing initiatives, including website development, PPC campaigns, social media.

Experience managing projects and working with firm deadlines.

Ability to think analytically and bring data-based solutions to varied marketing challenges.

Exceptional communication, organizational, planning, and writing skills.

Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Adaptable and easy to work with, possessing a positive attitude.

Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM software.

Expertise (or at least experience with) Google Apps (Drive, Calendar, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to react quickly to assess and implement solutions.

Experience in creating and implementing long-term strategic marketing plans and campaigns.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of Account Management experience; preferably at a strategic level.

Must be located in the Greater Grand Rapids Area.

Employment Information

Classification: Full-time.

Compensation: starts at $65,000+ (depending on experience).
