In the role of Product Marketing Manager, Identity Security, you will re-define the market expectations for identity-centric risk based access, lead adoption and earn fans for Microsoft Entra ID Protection (the industry’s leading AI and ML product) and ITDR products. You will partner with engineering on product plans and drive the positioning and messaging of new features. Craft go-to-market (GTM) plans that increase awareness and usage of Microsoft Entra ID Protection. You will serve as a spokesperson and subject matter expert with external and internal audiences. As we continue introducing new capabilities, you will lead the branding and messaging process before launching them publicly in PR, web, and sales content.

ResponsibilitiesFoster diversity and inclusion, role model Microsoft culture.Maintain relationships within Security marketing and with partner teams across marketing, sales, and the community.Drive product vision and roadmap for Entra ID protection based on customer insights, telemetry, market research and competitive analysis.Be the product specialist on new capabilities to customers, field sellers and partners, presenting at the Executive Briefing Center (EBC), Microsoft and industry events, customer and field engagements.Partner with GTM and Experiences teams on plans for events, launches, product moments.Lead product storytelling at industry events, with media and industry analysts.Lead messaging and positioning frameworks for the respective products.Lead feature naming, messaging, and core content for new product experiences.Embody our culture and values.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in businessOR equivalent experience.Additional Or Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experience.5+ years in technology product management, product marketing, or transferrable experience in developing value propositions, creating content, developing demos, presenting at events and customer presentations.Experience creating messaging and content that romances product scenarios, aligned to customer needs.Ability to translate complex technology concepts into compelling value-driven customer narratives.Executive communication, storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple customer stories.Experience in identity and network access management or security categories is preferred.Capability to developing solid working relationships with customers, senior executives, engineering teams, and other product and marketing groups.

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,900 - $162,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,300 - $176,900 per year.
