Reporting directly to the General Manager, responsible for the overall operational and strategic direction, administration, and coordination of all activities of the Marketing departments within Aquarius and Edgewater Resorts.Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Hire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of division’s leadership staffDevelop, implement, execute, and achieve long and short-term divisional business strategiesFormulate and operate within annual marketing plan, operating budget, and capital budget to accomplish goals and objectivesConduct ongoing analysis of financial reports to monitor the profitability and expenses of the division and take appropriate action by creating and implementing strategies and tactics to reduce cost and/or increase revenueOversee comps and other player incentive decisionsManage Player Development Incentive programProvide direction for player invitational events including tournaments, special events and other balanced event programming to optimize rated player participation.Responsible for cultivating business within both local and non-local databasesCollaborate with Corporate marketing regarding events and promotions, and direct marketing arenasCoordinate cross-marketing initiatives with other sister companies and strategic partners.Work with Corporate Analytics team to evaluate trends and promotional results; use data to adjust future planning and eventsParticipate in planning of advertising and promotion activities including print, online, and direct mail.Ensure a consistent brand image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events on propertyEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements

Qualifications

5-7 years senior leadership experience performing same or similar job duties within the Player Development and Marketing fieldsAbility to read, analyze and interpret players slot/table games play and make comping decisions based on company policyProfessional-level ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and team membersDemonstrated skills in influencing others, people skills, analytical and critical thinking skillsProven experience providing high level of guest serviceAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system (Synkros, LMS, Microsoft Office)At least 21 years of ageBachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork Cards
