LightFeather is currently seeking a highly skilled and creative
Graphic Designer
to create visually compelling designs across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, branding, and visual communication. You will work closely with our development and leadership teams to produce high-quality visual assets that align with our brand identity.This Position is Part Time 1099, Remote.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development and leadership teams to understand their design needs, translating their vision into visually compelling graphics and layouts.Craft detailed and visually intuitive diagrams for process flows, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in communication.Design slides, templates, and visual aids for internal and external presentations, ensuring consistency and professionalism.Organize and maintain a library of design assets, ensuring easy access and consistency across projects.Assist in developing and refining brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across all materials.Create graphics for websites, social media, and digital advertising campaigns, ensuring optimal resolution and responsiveness across devices.Assist with content creation and development.Work closely with internal teams to ensure design alignment with overall company objectives.Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our designs remain current and competitive.Required Qualifications and Skills:
US Citizenship.Clearance is not required at this time, but the ability to obtain and maintain one at the Public Trust level or above if needed is essential.Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.5+ years of experience in graphic design, with an emphasis on process flows, presentations, and marketing materials.Expert-level proficiency with common design software (Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, etc.).Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Quick starter and nimble/creative under project constraints.Real passion for seamless design and the creative process.Strong interest in and passion for learning new technologies and design skills.A strong portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity, process, and innovation in related fields.Experience collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project.Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying gained knowledge to address business problems.Ability to communicate on a business level and translate needs into a technical solution.Why Join LightFeather?You'll be part of a team dedicated to meaningful impact, working on solutions that address mission-critical needs.
