AidData has a vacancy for a Communications position which will be filled at the Associate or Specialist level based on the experience of the successful candidate:Communications Associate (CA):

Supports the implementation of AidData’s strategic communications efforts with a writing and social media emphasis. Responsible for content creation and curation across various platforms.Communications Specialist (CS):

Supports all aspects of AidData’s strategic communications, including audience outreach, content creation, and corporate communications.Note:

No sponsorship for work visas is available for this vacancy.Conditions of Employment

This is a restricted position. Continued employment is subject to availability of funding.This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.Required Qualifications

Communications Associate:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.Experience:

Working knowledge related to job duties.Audience/Outreach:

Knowledge of social media and email outreach platforms.Content Creation:

Ability to apply techniques for effective written and visual communications.Corporate Communications:

Strong organizational skills.Publications Support:

Excellent proofreading skills.Management, Leadership and Teamwork:

Ability to collaborate respectfully.Communications Specialist:

Relevant professional experience.Audience/Outreach:

Experience with audience segmentation strategies.Content Creation:

Experience implementing data-driven communications.Corporate Communications:

Ability to contribute designs or code to digital projects.Management, Leadership and Teamwork:

Hybrid (works remotely at least 1 day per week but not full-time).Advertised Pay Range
