Essential Duties and Responsibilities You will be responsible for adhering to all HeathStream security policies, procedures, and assigned trainingCollaborate with peers across teams to advance UX design practiceWork from a vision instead of being solely task-orientedManage work commitments across multiple teams by understanding underlying business prioritiesPlan and conduct user research activities (surveys, interviews, usability studies, analytics reporting, pilot testing, etc.) to guide product design and ongoing improvementsCreate mockups, prototypes, and workflow diagrams as needed; ensure designs align with established patterns, user validation and researchImprove existing products and functionality to create a better user experience; update processes and workflows to accommodate changing business needDevelop and organize design components for sharing across the organizationLeverage technical experience to communicate product needs to the development team; able to question/challenge development and QA resources to facilitate constructive brainstorming and solution designWork with distributed teams during development & QA to provide guidance and ensure UX specifications are metDocument UX research findingsPresent designs and receive feedback constructivelyDeliver consistent, clear, and timely communication (both written and verbal) to project stakeholdersQualifications What You Will Need to be SuccessfulEducation, Experience and Knowledge RequiredMinimum 3 years experience in UX designProficiency in graphic designFamiliarity with agile development principlesProficient in user experience design principles and methodsProficiency in one or more industry-standard prototyping tools (e.g., Invision, Figma, Balsamiq, etc.)Eye for aesthetic design and customer appealEducation, Experience, and Knowledge PreferredSkills and Abilities RequiredAccountability – Taking responsibility for one’s actions and the consequences that result from those actionsCommunication & Positive Presence – Listening attentively and respectfully; expressing thoughts and ideas effectively and concisely-both verbally and in writing.
