[place] is looking for a junior landscape designer to join our team.[place] is a landscape and architectural design studio that creates innovative, engaging, and site-specific spaces. Our unique perspective derives from our experience as both architects and landscape designers—approaching every project as a unique opportunity to integrate the site with the architectural experience. The studio atmosphere, while working remotely, allows for an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative approach from concept through construction. Our projects cover a variety of sizes and typologies, ranging from large creative and cultural campuses to small scale residential gardens.Ideal candidates have the following skills:
1 to 2 years of experience minimumEagerness to learnA high degree of self-motivation, responsibility, flexibility, and resourcefulnessStrong design, graphic, and organizational skillsAn ability to work independently and collaborativelyKnowledge of Southern California planting materials, and technical aspects of landscape designStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh proficiency with Autocad, Sketch-up and Adobe CSExperience with MS OfficeDegree in Landscape Architecture or ArchitectureCompensation is commensurate with skills and experience.Please do not send emails directly.
